The Great and Spacious Building

The Atlanta Apparelmart ...working for 5 days straight, pure exhaustion and unending boredom...but I got my scriptures marked and read while life went on in the "Great and Spacious Building"!

Washington DC

We met Kevin & Rikki in DC and had a LOVELY time walking around the sites. Holocaust Museum and the Mall. Loved the poignant picture of the 2 vets with an interesting 21st century young man. A picture's worth a thousand words! It was great being with our kids and hearing all the stories they had to tell of their own trip to New York. Despite the warmth of the day, we really had a great time!

Charlottesville, Virginia

We went to the town square not knowing it was UVA day.....all the students were coming back. It was CRAZY! People everywhere, funky smells, cool entertainment and a LOVELY evening. Only a LITTLE stressful for Rodg!

Monticello and Michie's Tavern

A Weary Traveler, our servers and Thomas Jefferson's amazing home. A true American!
Michie's Tavern was by far our favorite food stop!

Proving that fast food isn't necessry!

Rodg and I went to Virginia on a business trip determined to avoid fast food for the 10 days we were gone. We almost made it...only 3 times in 10 days....not bad! Besides, homemade chicken salad is WAY better at a nice rest stop!
