Washington DC
We met Kevin & Rikki in DC and had a LOVELY time walking around the sites. Holocaust Museum and the Mall. Loved the poignant picture of the 2 vets with an interesting 21st century young man. A picture's worth a thousand words! It was great being with our kids and hearing all the stories they had to tell of their own trip to New York. Despite the warmth of the day, we really had a great time!

cool
We are going there in a couple of weeks let me know what is the best thing to see. I am taking Mackenzie so it will need to be short and sweet and very entertaining. I haven't been since I was a youth and we went to the temple up there.
Love your blog.
Delores! There's tons of walking to do. Probably a Smithsonian would have the most to "look" at but the Mall with all the Memorials is still my favorite. Have a great time and plan for it being cold. We just about froze last year in October when we went...rainy and windy.
Thanks so much for the information. We leave Thursday and I don't want to be cold. Love your blog. It's fun to catch up on friends lives when we are soo far away. (What like 10 minutes apart.)
